Arnedo

With 900 members, Trujal 5 Valles is the largest cooperative olive-oil mill in La Rioja. Farmers in the valleys of the Cidacos, Alhama, Leza, Jubera and Linares partnered in 1995 to promote the growth of olive trees in one of the great olive producing areas of the region. Located in Arnedo, the mill is fitted with modern systems to produce oils of the highest quality. The cooperative markets its protected designation of origin oil under the 5 Valles brand. It is a blend of native olive varieties. The main olive varieties used are Redondilla, Arbequina, Empeltre and Picual.

Ollauri

Located in the town of Ollauri, Almazara El Alberque is the only olive-oil press in La Rioja Alta. In 2007, the Martínez Palacios family created the mill to provide a pressing service for the area, where olive growing increases each year. The olive-oil press is used to make top quality extra virgin olive oil. A blend of Arbequina and Royuela, the oil made in Almazara El Alberque is sold under the Oleum Berque and Trapetum brands to gourmet shops and top restaurants. It is also available at the shop on the premises.

We recommend a visit to our winery and olive-oil mill located in Ollauri. A unique, natural environment with a great cultural, landscape and architectural heritage.

Patés El Robledillo is a company created in 1989. We manufacture home-style sausages and pâtés.

Our hard work over the years has led to extensive recognition, including a plaque of honour at FIMA 1990. We have recently received the ARTISANS card from the Government of La Rioja.

Following a rich tradition, our products are the result of a process employing the best raw ingredients and the perfect mountain climate. The resulting quality is endorsed by our many customers from across Spain.

Making craft products in the land of La Rioja is an oral tradition that passes from one generation to the next, keeping the family secret to always give that personal touch to the taste. Family secrets placed at the disposal of the most demanding palates.

Secrets shared by El Robledillo, from the heart of the Cameros Riojanos, which continues to make this traditional pâté and sell its traditional products through its distribution network.

We have an ethnographic museum where we have collected the utensils that were formerly used in the traditional pig slaughter in Ortigosa de Cameros.

We have incorporated machinery over the years to provide a uniform product without losing the traditional and artisan component we retain from one generation to the next. In addition our bakery has a certificate from the Government of La Rioja, which accredits us as an artisan company. A seal that distinguishes us and identifies us as authentic producers who follow the same methods as our parents.

Located in the El Espartal estate in Quel, it has 235 hectares of hyper-intensive farming and an olive-oil mill with modern processing systems. Carlos Aldama, started the project in 2000 by the planting 150 hectares of Arbequina. In 2006, he set up the mill with modern processing systems. Throughout this time, he has continued to plant new groves with Arbequina, Arbosana and Koroneiki experimenting with them to get oils of the highest quality. Under the Lectus brand, his oil has earned several awards for its quality.

Torrecilla en Cameros

The Peñaclara plant is located at 800 m above sea level in the town of Torrecilla en Cameros (La Rioja), between the N-111 national road and the River Iregua, 29 km. from Logroño.

The geological structure of this region, nexus between the Cantabrian mountains and the Pyrenees, is extremely complex. It is characterized by the superposition of structural cuts with two different orogenies —hercynian and tertiary.
