El Redal is a municipality in the autonomous region of La Rioja. The municipality is under the local jurisdiction of Calahorra and was included in what is known as the Ocón Valley. It stands on a plain to the northeast of Villa de Ocón. This is a farming town and increasing numbers of vines are being planted at the expense of the town's almond trees. Founded by the people of Arnedo in the early Middle Ages, it's name means «small city of Arnedo». It belonged to the Counts of Nieva and the Dukes of Frías. In 1862, Carlos II granted it the title of town and also its independence from Arnedo. It belonged alternately to Burgos and Soria until the province of Logroño was created.

Ezcaray is a municipality in La Rioja, Spain. It is in the upper Oja Valley in the southeast of the autonomous region. Their festivities are in honor of San Vicente and traditionally also celebrated San Isidro Labrador. The most important festivals are those of the Virgin of the Assumption and San Roque taking place on 15 and 16 August.
