Tudelilla

Tudelilla is a Spanish municipality within the autonomous region of La Rioja. The municipality is linked to other areas by road. There are three access roads; to the north, the municipality links with the national N-232 road. The other two access roads link with the LR-123 to Arnedo. Annual rain fall is 400mm according to data held by the autonomous region of La Rioja. According to the same data, there is an occasional risk of storms in the municipality during which many litres of water fall in a short period of time. There is a low risk of snow with between 3 and 12 days of snow a year. There is no natural water network in the municipality. There is however a reservoir measuring 17,000 m3 which provides water in winter when levels are low. There is an industrial water treatment plant for treating residential water. The average annual temperature is 13ºC.

Uruñuela is a farming municipality in the autonomous region of La Rioja, just 23 km from the region's capital, Logroño, and 3 km from Nájera. Uruñuela covers 10.4 km2. Today the municipality's surface area measures 13.9 km2, as on the 10 March 2010, the La Rioja government passed Law 3/2010 modifying the municipal areas of Torremontalbo and Uruñuela. Under this ruling, Somalo left the first of these municipalities and became part of the second. The town is 499 metres above sea level and is part of the district of Nájera. The current population is around 950, although this figure increases considerably in summer. Over the last century, the population decreased by 25%.

Varea is a less important area attached to the municipality of Logroño. It is to the east of the city's main centre, alongside the River Iregua.

In 1020, Sancho III gave the municipality of Ventosa to the San Millán de la Cogolla Monastery. The histories of the municipality and Nájera are linked.
