Villoslada (00 min) In front of the court wall, take the path that starts at the other side of the road and that crosses a gate. Go up on the hillside following the Iregua River course among holly trees and oaks. From the path, at the other side of the river, you can see the Santa María Chapel and the camping. After a bridge with two gates over the Las Rameras Stream, you will reach a trail. Las Rameras Trail (55 min) Cross a trail to ascend some rocks. From there, turn left to ascend among Scots pines and beeches. Cross a trail and continue in the same direction towards the La Romanizosa Fountain. When you arrive at the crossroads, turn left and ascend to Alto del Achicharre. Alto del Achicharre (2 h) The path continues among clearings and pine forests, in the shade of Collado del Aspa and Cueva Grande. Descend the route in the pine forest to the left until you reach flowing water. Turn left to reach the Majadal del Ófilo. Pass the gate and, a little further on, you will find the trail that leads up the hill. Hill (3 h 35 min) The path descends across the Valley of the Lumbreras River, that carries its water to the Pajares Reservoir. After 5 minutes, leave the path and take a route on the left. After passing the source of the Rulaga Stream, cross two fire lanes. The path enters the Pyrenean oak forest and exits next to the reservoir house, above the dam. Pajares Dam (5 h 5 min) The trail that ascends on the left crosses a forest where the birches stand out. Cross a cattle grid and continue on the left until you reach the N-111. After walking 20 metres down the road shoulder, go up a path with a gate and cross the Los Mojes Stream. After passing another gate, turn left and continue on a hillside path until you reach the path that leads to the La Nava Lake. La Nava (6 h 25 min) This meadow surrounded by pine trees, an old stopping place during the times of the Mesta, accumulates water during rain and thaw seasons. When you arrive at some rocks, the path coincides with the stretch of the Roman road from Iregua to Villoslada. Villoslada (7 h 25 min) End of the hike.

Natural values
Extensively-wooded mountain area. The footpath crosses wide extensions of Scots pine, Pyrenean oak, beech, meadows and riverbanks next to the Iregua, as well as open spaces on the hills, habitat of the endangered grey partridge. It also crosses an interesting area, with patches of birch trees growing on peaty land. Apart from being a Natural Park, this area is included within the land under the Natura 2000 network (Mountain ranges of Demanda, Urbión, Cebollera and Cameros), which comprises both the SPAB (Special Protection Area for Birds) and the SCI (Site of Community Importance) previously designated with that same denomination.
