Long Description:
Viniegra de Arriba is a municipality in the autonomous region of La Rioja.
-Location: It is part of the district of Nájera. Just like Viniegra de Abajo, it is one of the seven Viniegras Towns. It lies between the San Lorenzo and Urbión Mountains upstream of the River Najerilla.
-Height: 1,182 metres.
Tourism resources:
Parish Church of La Asunción with Romanesque remains and an important 15th century high choir. Wall with a glass cabinet where an image of Saint Vincent (1794) is kept.
