Long Description:
Tricio is a municipality in the autonomous region of La Rioja close to the city of Nájera.
-Location: It is part of the district of Nájera. It is on the right bank of the lower Najerilla Valley.
-Area: 6.3 km2.
-Height: 563 metres.
-Economy: The economy is based on crop farming, particularly grapes and potatoes, but grain and industrial crops are also grown. Animal farming is also important and there are some furniture factories making up the secondary sector.
Tourism resources:
15th century Late Gothic San Miguel Parish. Over the clock there is a tile with a snail, the symbol of the village. Emblazoned noblemen mansions.

Local festivals:
San Bartolomé, on 24 August, especially the Snail Festival, with snail tastings and racing. The donkey race is also to be noted. Pilgrimage to the Virgen de Arcos Chapel, on the first Sunday in May.
