Long Description:

Munilla is a municipality in the autonomous region of La Rioja in the district of Arnedo.
-Location: It is part of the district of Arnedo. It stands at the foot of the Hez Mountains in the Santiago beechwood and the Camero Viejo region.
-Area: 54 km2.
-Height: 791 metres.
-Populated areas: La Santa, Monjía, Ribalmaguillo, Peroblasco and San Vicente.
-Economy: There was a large textile and shoe industry here, but the municipality has gradually lost its population as inhabitants have moved away to Arnedo. The main activity now is livestock farming: sheep, cattle and goats, although there are some small farms producing potatoes and fruit.

Tourism resources:

The 14th century San Miguel Church has a valuable reredos from 1662 by Gabriel Pinedo. It is in an area surrounded by trees, which serves as a natural viewpoint. It is near the La Soledad Chapel. Parish Church of Santa María, in stone, from the 15th century. There is a building used for children camps and trips for retired people.
