Jubera

tipo de documento semantico destination

Long Description:

Jubera is part of the municipality of Santa Engracia de Jubera. The town is dominated by the castle. In 1207 it was one of the three strongholds loyal to Castile; the other two were the castles in Ausejo and Clavijo.
The landscape is rural with mid-sized mountains and is somewhat wild with the river running deep in the valley.
The 13th century walls and Romanesque porch remain in the San Nicolás Church. There is a large gothic crucifix and a 17th century Romanesque altarpiece.

-Location: The town is in the mountainous Juber Valley.
-Town: The town appears to be in full decline, just like the rest of the area. Rural tourism is now starting to bring some benefits to the town.
-Height: 648 metres.
