Enciso is a municipality in the autonomous region of La Rioja close to the border with Soria. The River Cidacos crosses the municipality. The are over 3,000 fossilised footprints of dinosaurs in the municipality. There is a palaeontology centre with information on how the fossilised footprints were preserved and which species they belonged to.

Interesting urban ensemble. The Parish Church of Santa María de la Estrella is a 15th century building in ashlar that was finished three centuries after. The highlight is the great reredos in the presbytery. The San Pedro Church, with a 12th century Romanesque tower, is a single nave church with square chancel. On the south it is attached to the San Emeterio and San Celedonio Chapel. Both churches were declared national artistic monuments in 1974. Bridges over the Cidacos River. The Paleontology Centre of Enciso is installed in an old shoe factory. It is dedicated to the investigation of the dinosaur remains in La Rioja and the promotion of the results of its investigations.
