Long Description:

El Redal is a municipality in the autonomous region of La Rioja. The municipality is under the local jurisdiction of Calahorra and was included in what is known as the Ocón Valley. It stands on a plain to the northeast of Villa de Ocón. This is a farming town and increasing numbers of vines are being planted at the expense of the town's almond trees. The remaining farm land is planted with olive trees, barley and fruit and vegetables (mainly mushrooms and wild mushrooms). There are also large pastures where flocks of sheep graze.
-Location: It is part of the district of Arnedo. It forms part of the Ocón Valley.
-Area: 8.3 km2.
-Height: 619 metres.
-Economy: The main activity is farming, particularly mushrooms and potatoes.

15th century Nuestra Señora de Las Virtudes Church. Ashlar emblazoned buildings from the 16th century.
