Long Description:
Ausejo is a municipality in the autonomous region of La Rioja.
-Location:It is part of the district of Calahorra. It is on the right bank of the River Ebro in the area called Ocón.
-Area:56.7 km2.
-Height: 556 metres.
-Economy: The main activity is farming, particularly asparagus, mushrooms, grapes and other fruit.
Tourism resources:
Parish Church of Santa María from the 16th century. The building has a single nave covered by stellar ribbed vaults. Santa María de la Antigua Chapel and El Crucifijo Chapel.
