Long Description:
Arenzana de Arriba is a municipality in the autonomous region of La Rioja.
-Location: It is part of the district of Nájera.
-Area: 5.96 km2.
-Height: 598 metres.
-Economy: The main activity is growing potatoes, grapes and wheat.
Tourism resources:
The Parish Church of La Asunción that was started in 1550 has a 16th century tower with two rectangular sections. In this church are the mortal remains of San Ramiro and it also stores the images of the Immaculate Conception, Baby Jesus with the orb and a beautiful crucifix, all dated 17th century. Emblazoned mansions of the same period. Old Roman potter workshops.
