Arenzana de Abajo is a municipality in the autonomous region of La Rioja.
-Location: It is part of the district of Nájera.
-Area: 8.2 km2.
-Height: 543 metres.
-Economy: The main activity here is farming and the most common crops are grain, potatoes and grapes.
Streets, large houses with coat of arms or shield. Church of La Asunción (16th century). Built in dressed stone, it has three naves, triple octagonal chancel and a two sectional tower. Its wonderful choir stands out. Wall to wall with the church, we find a fountain with two pipes dedicated to Nuestra Señora de la Antigua. During Christmas, the only mechanical nativity scene in La Rioja is set up here.
