Alberite is a municipality within the autonomous region of La Rioja.

-Economy: Irrigated farming is particularly important here as the municipal area lies around the River Iregua.
Historic city centre with emblazoned mansions and palaces of dressed stone. The Parish Church of San Martín, 16th to 18th centuries, has a single nave with three rectangular floor plan sections with transept and octagonal apse with three facing walls. It houses a magnificent Mannerist reredos by Arnao de Bruselas and a renowned painting by the local artist Emilio Moreda. Wineries.
