Standing next to the Church of Nieva de Cameros is the rural tourism centre Albergue la Casa Nueva. It is a building steeped in history from being a shelter for everyone who came and did not have any lodging to a stable, prison, etc.
It is stone building and its exteriors have been respected (Stone arch and façades), but inside it has been completely renovated inside. Due to its privileged location, we can enjoy marvellous surroundings, on the one hand the views of the village and its forests and on the other Peña El Zapatero, famous for its climbing , valleys, ravines, mountains and the rock castle with easy access to the pillory, with splendid views that invite us to relax and enjoy the mountains of Sierra de

The Hostel
is rented by rooms or completely, so you can plan your holidays as a family or group. It has a Lounge with TV and DVD, an industrial-type kitchen, bathrooms with common showers and 7 bedrooms, 3 of them with private bathroom.
The house is surrounded by a green area of more than 1000 m. One of the things to be highlighted in the house is a large wooden ceiling and its thick stone walls. In the entrance there is a stone arch more than two centuries old, a typical feature of our village houses.
Rooms
The hostel has 7 bedrooms, 2 with a 1.35 bed, and bathroom, 1 with bunk beds and bathroom. 1 with 2 bunks and 3 with 3 bunks.
The furniture is solid pine which gives a warm and pleasant atmosphere. Both mattresses and bases are of quality for your optimum rest. They are spacious and comfortably distributed, all with an extra bed in case of need or a third person.
All rooms are exterior with views towards the mountain, which makes them verybright and joyful. Although the area is quiet the windows have sound-proof glass to avoid hearing any outside noise andto maintain the indoor temperature of the house.
Lounges and Common Spaces.
The interior facilities arecozy and spacious. The Lounge has a large area for different activities.

Recently restored holiday cottage on the mountain slopes on the outskirts of Nieva de Cameros. The House is built according to the traditional system of large walls on the façade with large openings for windows and interior wood structure, in addition to heating in the whole house. Inside there are three floors plus the covered ground floor. On the ground floor a full kitchen, the dining room and the lounge area with fireplace. The first floor consists of two bedrooms, one with double bed and the other with a single bed, apart from the bathroom. The second floor has two rooms with two beds each, in addition to the bathroom. From the windows you can see the mountains, the Church and the ruins of the castle.
