Charming tourist apartments, cool and comfortable, located in a historic and unique building in the town of Haro. The building has been restored from top to bottom, while keeping its original stone structure and replacing the main wooden beams and joists to give the apartments' interiors a wonderful warmth. An enormous sky-light above the lift and stairwell lights up the whole interior.
The restoration has permitted the construction of 6 apartments, 2 on each upper floor. They are virtually identical, apart from the attics under the eaves. All have natural mains gas and independent boilers.
The “Los Zapatos Morados” apartments are designed to comfortably sleep four. Each flat has a 150cm (large UK double) bed in the bedroom and a 140cm (standard UK double) sofa-bed in the sitting-room. Both mattresses are visco-elastic (memory foam) for our guests’ comfort. Each apartment also has nine pillows in four thicknesses and different sizes for our guests’ individual preferences. Bedding, towels and tea-towels are changed and housekeeping is carried out every four days, unless otherwise arranged.
The whole building is a WI-FI zone. Guests are very welcome to use it. Each sitting-room contains an LG 32” flat-screen HD television with USB, DivX MKV and various other formats for video, music and photos.
The location of the apartments is hard to beat. They are in the historic centre with bars and restaurants close by to enjoy typical Riojan gastronomy and its fine wines.

Hotel Los Agustinos

Hotel Los Agustinos, old convent and List 1 protected building dating from 1373, when Don Diego López de Haro obtained the license for founding the convent. Since then it has been used as a military garrison, hospital, prison and school,still preserving inscriptions made by prisoners on the Cloister columns.
More than six hundred years have been necessary for the former Convent of San Agustín to see its thick stone walls restored to their former glory, lead onto modern hotel facilities. It has a magnificent Cloister, recently covered with special glass, which permits the view of the Cloister, the building maintaining its traditional aspect. Considered the main work of the Hotel, it turns its 800 m2 into a room adaptable to meet the demands of our clients all year round, a place to hold banquets, exhibitions, meetings, concerts, etc.
Totally renovated in 2006, it has 62 rooms, (1 suite, 1 junior suite, 54 double, 6 single). A wide range of services are offered, such as the Restaurant LAS DUELAS, under the management of the renowned chef Juan Nales, where you can enjoy quality cuisine and an excellent and varied wine list, with more than 200 references.
