El Pajar de Javi
tipo de documento Accommodations
This privileged village, at the foot of the Cerro de las Tres Villas, is a mirador over the River Najerilla, full of history and centuries-old culture; an exceptional viewpoint over Sierra del San Lorenzo, in La Demanda, to Montes Obareneses and Sierra de Cantabria bordering the Valley of the Ebro.
In the centre of this village, beside its most emblematic and historical building, the Church, is "El Pajar de Javi". The building is on the site of former haylofts, of which the old stone walls have been preserved, now enclosing the spacious living room of more than sixty square metres, with a counter leading into the kitchen with a grill and a wood-fired oven for roasting, and all the usual elements in a kitchen of today (electric cooker, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, etc.) that will make the visitor's stay comfortable and show what the old village kitchens used to be like, where food could be roasted in the coals of the fire or in the wood-fired oven.
The house has eight spacious rooms, all of them single, with full and comfortable bathrooms. They are all newly renovated, on the ground floor in which the lounge is located, complementing its rustic and traditional ambience with individual spaces (the rooms),whose functionality and comfort are at the levels demanded today.
