Long Description:

Jalón de Cameros is a municipality in the autonomous region of La Rioja in the basin formed by the River Leza and in the district of Camero Viejo.
-Location: It is part of the district of Torrecilla en Cameros.
-Location: 8.4 km2.
-Height: 876 metres.
-Economy: The village has lost almost all its population. The few remaining inhabitants earn their living through forestry and livestock farming.

Tourism resources:

The Parish Church of San Miguel is built in rough ashlar and masonry. Most of it dates 16th century, although the tower, the sacristy and the choir date a century later. It has a single nave with two sections, and an octagonal chancel with five facing walls. In its interior the highlights are the great reredos, a 16th century Mannerist image of San Sebastián and a 17th century image of the Immaculate Conception. The Chapel of Santo Cristo del Humilladero is a domed ashlar and masonry construction. Its interior houses a small one section reredos with undulated shaft Corinthian columns and round pediment where a coat of arms dated 1699 is seen.
