Long Description:

Arnedillo is a municipality within the autonomous region of La Rioja. It is in the Lower Rioja region, just a few kilometres from Arnedo, between the Hez and Peñalmonte mountain ranges. The River Cidacos crosses the municipality. The area is well-known for its natural thermal baths that contain hot water filtered from deep down in the earth. This water is used by the spa which is on the right-hand bank of the river on the outskirts of the town. Santa Eulalia Somera is a district just 5 km from Arnedillo next to Santa Eulalia Bajera. It is part of the municipality of Arnedillo.

-Economy: The thermal spa in Arnedillo attracts tourists to the area and this is the main source of income. The municipality's orography means that there is little crop or livestock farming.

Tourism resources:

The hot springs, whose water is at a constant temperature of 52 degrees, has medicinal properties. San Servando and San Germán Parish, 16th and 17th centuries, of ashlar and brick. It has three naves with a tower at the base and a stellar vault. Remains of the Castle of the Bishops of Calahorra. The village has three chapels: San Miguel where the early medieval tombs dug in the rocks surrounding the chapels stand out; Nuestra Señora de Peñalva, Mozarabic construction from the 10th century with three naves with chancel and horseshoe floor plan; and San Tirso, situated on a cliff, dug in the rocks, where the main highlight is the 16th century Neo-mudéjar great reredos. It is important to highlight the three bridges in Arnedillo, which have only one semicircular arch built in ashlar and masonry. At the other side of the Cidacos River, the remains from the 13th century Castle of the Bishops of Calahorra are found. Other sites to enjoy are the Dinosaur footprints, visiting the Vulture Observation Point and walking the Cidacos Green Trail. The market of the village is on Thursdays.
