The visit lasts about 30 minutes.
It starts with the history of the bodega, then continues with a visit to different parts of the bodega:
- Reception of the grapes.
- Vat room: the winemaking process is explained.
- Barrel cellar: cask-ageing and bottle ageing times for the different wines are explained. Ageing of the wines: traditional racking by decanting and gravity.
- Bottle cellar
- Bottling and labelling line: the bottling process and labelling are explained (Board).
Once the bodega tour is completed, you are able to taste some wines.
All totally free of charge.
HOW TO GET TO THE BODEGA
Coming from Logroño: at the roundabout, without entering San Vicente, follow the Labastida road. The bodega is just past the petrol station.
Coming from Vitoria: just before the petrol station you will see the bodega on your right.
Coming from Briones: after crossing the Ebro and following the winding road up to the village of San Vicente you come to a junction with a STOP. Turn left out of the village and about 1 km further on you come to a roundabout. Turn left and we are just past the petrol station.
