The Hostería de San Millán reopens its doors under new management, with the goal of offering visitors to La Rioja accommodation within these history-laden walls. It is located in a World Heritage Site which is the cradle of the Castilian language, where some of the first words were written in Spanish, the second most widely-spoken language in the world. All Spanish speakers wishing to discover their linguistic roots can do so at San Millán de la Cogolla. Here visitors can enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the Valley of San Millán, located in the heart of La Rioja Alta, home to several cultural and wine tourism routes. In addition, you can enjoy La Sierra de La Demanda in all its glory.
The Hostería de San Millán has 25 double rooms, including three suites, all exterior-facing, with views of Mount San Lorenzo, the Monastery of Suso and Yuso square. All rooms have the advantages of a 4 star hotel and the charm of an ancient building.
