La Abadía has spacious accommodation in 78 rooms, most of them double and with bathroom. There are also single rooms with washbasin; a total of 111 beds. It also has two large dining rooms for residents and the public in general. In the hotel meals are also served for groups, celebrations, christenings, communions, confirmations, etc. There is also a large assembly room with a capacity for 100 persons.
Other uses are "Refuge" o "Spiritual Centre" for those wishing to spend a few days of silence and reflection, as prayer groups, youth gatherings, workshops, retreats, spiritual exercises, etc.
La Abadía also has a Pilgrims Hostel managed by Cistercian nuns (Bernardas), who do all they can to ensure the pilgrims are comfortable and recharge their batteries on their pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela.
